Bustos-QuinnEconomics101 won’t work in DC
8/9/2012
As the failed economic policies of Governor Quinn and Mike Madigan continue to plague the state, liberal congressional candidate Cheri Bustos, D-East Moline, plans to take those policies to Washington, DC. Bustos’ campaign has relied on surge of support from Gov. Quinn and his allies, inturn, Bustos has embraced the economic policies of the Quinn Administration.
“Touting the Pat Quinn economic plan will only get you votes in Wisconsin or Indiana, because that’s where Quinn is creating and sending jobs,” said Illinois Republican Party Chairman Pat Brady. “Cheri Bustos is misguided if she thinks jobs in Western Illinois will be created by Quinn’s economic policies and ‘Chicago values.”
“Just look at Bustos’ record as an alderwoman in East Moline, she consistently voted for more spending, more taxes, and created more debt at the local level, we don’t need another tax and spend ‘lobbyist’ on Capitol Hill, and that’s exactly what we would get with Cheri Bustos in Washington.”
